Description of Product

Commodor 1507, 12-inch, 78 RPM.

Lee Wiley with Jess Stacy and Muggsy Spanier performing Down To Steamboat Tennessee / Sugar.

Record is in E/E- condition, plays beautifully, one of the best playing Commodores I have ever owned, virtually no surface noise.  Labels are nice.

1941 issue.

This is one of my all time favorite records, evoking images of a smoky, late hour jazz club. "Down To Steamboat Tennessee" is the only blues Wiley ever recorded and she really nails it. Spanier and Stacy are the perfect choices to accompany Wiley's distinctive vocal style.

Terrific and Scarce 12-inch Jazz Vocal 78 in EXCELLENT E/E- Condition.
