Description of Product

Nice copy of nice sides of a medium tempo, sad lament about a dying girlfriend, and sage advice about the evils of drinking and dope by obscure blues singer, James Carter with excellent piano, guitar and drums accompaniment by Sam Price and unknown guitarist and drummer. Recorded in Chicago, apparently his only recording.

Condition: E,E-/E; Plays fine, loud and strong over light to very light surface noise.  Generally nice clean copy aside from a tiny spot or two of staining, minimal affect on playing, very light scuff or two and hint of very light grain typical of many Decca pressings.
