Description of Product

Brunswick 8155, 78 RPM.

Eddy Duchin and his Orchestra performing Ol' Man Mose / Between the Devil and the Deep Blue Sea.  Vocals by Patricia Norman.

Record is in  Nice V+/V condition, plays quite nicely.  Labels are  good, radio station stickers.  This record was found in an old radio station record library in Lowell, Massachusetts.

1938 issue; recorded in Los Angeles, March 21, 1938.

Personnel:

Dave Wade, Al Carroll, Charles Trotta (tp) Moe Zudecoff (tb) John Geller, Aaron Voloshin (cl,as) Stanley Worth (cl,as) Fred Morrow (cl,ts) Milt Shaw (vln, arr) Eddie Duchin (p,arr, ldr) Horace Diaz (p) (2nd p) Gene Baumgarter (g) Al Kunze (b) Harry Campbell (d) Patricia Norman (vcl)

Probably the only hot swing record by the Duchin band, thanks mainly to irrepressible vocalist Patricia Norman.

Terrific and Scarce Big Band Swing Jazz 78 in  Nice V+/V Condition.
