Vintage gospel songbook, circa 1946. Radio Favorites, by The Dixie Four, old format paperback with stapled binding. Name written on upper area of front cover. Bascially in solid conditon with a bit of vertical rippling / bend lines in the front cover. Pages have generally uniform light mild discoloration due to age, not severe at all, and quite legible. 132 pages with an index to songs on the inner back cover. Edited and complied by the group's Director, Gene Lowery of WIBC, Indianapolis, Indiana. Measures about 8" x 5.5". The Dixie Four was a white gospel quartet that originated in 1938 in Jackson, Mississippi, performing live as well as on a number of radio stations as described in the introduction of book, in which a full page black and white image of the group also appears.
