White's first record under his nickname Bukka, recorded in Chicago, 1937 just before starting his sentence in Parchman Farm which ended two years later. "Shake Em On Down" was quite influential in Chicago blues. Scuffs and scratches, plays strong with minimal distortion using a 3.3-mil stylus, although "Pinebluff Arkansas" is somewhat scratchy (MP3 available on request).
