Loose and raucous black jazz cut in Dallas, October 1929. This is the most common of their five records, which isn’t saying much as it seldom shows up. Despite some water damage that dulls part of the surface, the record plays well, with some added swish due to the water damage but only a little bit of peak distortion on some of the louder bass drum hits. Minor scratches add to the noise in spots. MP3 available on request.
