Classic Gospel blues with slide guitar from Victor's first extensive field trip through the south in early 1927. recorded at the same session as Julius Daniels' iconic "Ninety-Nine Year Blues." With a 3.5-mil stylus, A side plays very well with several instances of mild to moderate peak distortion of brief notes, and B side plays with almost no peak distortion. Both sides have scuffing, very light grain and some small scratches that cause clicks, mainly on the B side. Minor damage on both labels. MP3 available on request. This record is from the personal collection of radio personality and music historian Barret “Dr. Demento” Hansen, who is starting to downsize portions of his collection.
