One of the better Jim Jackson records, cut in the Memphis Auditorium in February 1928. With a 3.5-mil stylus, plays better than it looks with just a few instances of very minor peak distortion on both sides, many very light scratches and a few that look moderate but are mostly inaudible, and some light scuffing. One small ding on the label on "My Mobile Central Blues." MP3 available on request. This record is from the personal collection of radio personality and music historian Barret “Dr. Demento” Hansen, who is starting to downsize portions of his collection.
